About this event
Do you want to find out how your organisation can include disabled children?

Come to our session and you will:
- find out about the legislation, rights and entitlements of disabled children
- consider ways in which universal providers can better meet the needs of disabled children in Hackney
- practical ways in which you can ensure your services are more accessible.
By the end of the session you will gain:
- information on disabled children in Hackney
- knowledge about Hackney Ark - Disabled Children’s Service
- the role of the HIT squad who help children with complex needs
- why engaging ethnic and small VCS providers is important
- practical steps you can take to be more inclusive.
Who is this for?
Voluntary and community organsiations who work in play, afterschool, early years, holiday projects, supplementary schools, youth clubs, and family support.
