African Women's Network
This new network has been running the ‘BE BRAVE Project’ targeted mainly at African women in order to raise awareness on Domestic Violence - a taboo topic in many African communities.
The project intends to break the silence, broach and open up this topic for public debate and discussion through network meetings for organisations working with African communities.
The network is also concerned about the issue of Female Circumcision and will be doing work in awareness raising around this issue.
