Educators Forum ESOL Network
A small grant was awarded to this network to carry out a survey into the ESOL needs and experiences amongst the Turkish & Kurdish speaking people in Hackney.
The ESOL network included liaison and working together with all local Turkish & Kurdish community groups and Hackney Refugee Forum. Educator Forum’s ESOL work also stretches to ESOL providers in the Learning Trust and Hackney Community College.
Latest News
In July 2010, by working with parents, children and the Learning Trust, Educators Forum published a booklet on the Path from GCSE to University for the Turkish and Kurdish community.
Both the ESOL research and this booklet can be obtained from the premises of the Educators Forum, Teachers Centre.
