Safer Young Hackney

The Safer Young Hackney (SYH) network brings together people from the voluntary and community sector (VCS) who deliver services to young people with a youth crime focus.

The network has two CEN representatives - Gary Francis and Dave Ramdial. They attend Team Hackney’s Safer Young Hackney sub group bring the views of their members to those meetings, where decisions are made on funding and policy on local services which tackle youth crime. SYH aims to influence this and work together on funding bids and supporting those working in the VCS.

We are currently working on:

  • Creating a directory for our members to advertise their services to funders: Click here to submit your entry
  • Creating opportunities for members to develop consortia and partnership bids - If you are considering form partnership and would like to become more involved in that area please find an expression of interest form here
  • Sharing information on Young Hackney - Hackney Council's new combined Youth Services and Youth Offending teams.
