Could your organisation benefit from taking on apprentices?
At the EDN Funding Our Future event in March network members suggested HCVS could employ apprentices which would circulate through different organisations. Is this an idea you would like to take further?
Apprentices are hired by an employer for at least 16 hours a week and must be paid a minimum of £2.50 per hour. The number of hours is likely to increase and the National Apprenticeship Scheme is piloting a number of programmes to support small and medium enterprises to take on apprenticeships.
Employers can upload their vacancies (which include person specifications) onto the National Apprenticeship website. Hackney Community College will assess and shortlist applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of your placement and are able to complete the qualification.
