The EDN is looking for a new rep!
Dear network members,The Economic Development Network is looking for a Voluntary and Community Sector representative. This is an opportunity to represent the interests of the network in a variety of forums, including at Team Hackney meetings where local policy decisions are made. As an EDN rep you would work closely with the network chair and coordinator to ensure that the EDN carries out relevant work which meets the needs of its members, increases the voice and influence of the sector and works to improve services delivered so that Hackney’s communities and residents benefit more from economic opportunities.Brief Outline of Duties:
- Represent the views, perspectives and strategic interests of the Economic Development Network at the Economic Development Partnership Board (EDPB) of the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)
- Feed into EDN Exec meetings in order to clarify the priorities and future work of the network and to chair
- Attend EDN and wider Hackney Community Empowerment Network meetings.
